Thank you taking the time to be our guest at Foot of Ten. We understand how it feels to visit a church for the first time, and we want to be as helpful as we can to make your experience refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family.

Arrival

Our church building is set up a little differently than most. The main parking lot is located behind the church, and most people enter through the two sets of doors in the rear of the building. These doors bring you into the front of our auditorium. What looks like the main entrance is not the main entrance for most people. We do have some additional parking out front as well.

Greeting

No matter what entrance you choose on Sunday mornings, you will be greeted by one of our greeters and offered a bulletin and a sermon outline, if you choose to take them.  If you have any questions, feel free to ask one of the greeters, and they will be happy to direct you to your Sunday School class or the auditorium.

Child Care

Nursery care is available during all services for infants and toddlers up to age 2.  We offer classes for all ages of children during all services.  If you attend Sunday School and your children are ages 2 and under, they can stay in their class during the break between Sunday School and the Morning Worship service.  All other children will go into the auditorium after Sunday School and stay with you for the first part of the service.  On the last hymn, children ages 3 – 5 are dismissed to their class, and children in grades Kindergarten through 4th grade will be dismissed for Junior Church.

Visitor Card

During the first part of the Morning Worship service, our pastor will ask any visitors to raise his/her hand, and our ushers will give you a visitor card.  We ask that you fill out that card and place it in the offering plate at the end of the service.  That’s all you need to place in the offering, unless the Lord leads you to give.

Dress Code

At Foot of Ten, we don’t really have a dress code for services.  Most people wear their “Sunday best”, but we are just regular folks.  For some, their best is their nicest jeans and collared shirt; for others, that is a suit and tie.

Service Style

Here at Foot of Ten, we hope you enjoy our traditional services. During the the service, we sing uplifting hymns followed by an encouraging, relevant, and practical Bible message from our Pastor.

Music

The music at Foot of Ten is unapologetically conservative. We sing traditional hymns in the traditional way, and we like it like that.  We do not support Contemporary Christian or Praise and Worship music.  Our choir sings an arrangement in the Morning Worship Service followed by a special before the message.  We also have a variety of instrumentalists that provide specials during the offertory.

Come Again

We hope your first visit to Foot of Ten is not your last.  We would love to see you again, and after your first visit, we hope you feel like part of the family.
