Missions

Our Objective

The Foot of Ten Independent Baptist Church endeavors to reach the lost, both home and abroad with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  “…Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15) “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:  and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8) We shall also endeavor to “disciple” believers both individually and jointly through the establishment of Fundamental, Bible-believing, local churches. “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you…” (Matthew 28:20)  As God calls and directs His servants to the “fields white unto harvest,” we shall commission, teach, support (in prayer and finances), and send forth all those we have determined God has led us to support as a church body.  “Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.  And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.” (Acts 13:2-3)

Missionary House

Our campus contains a house that was donated to the church many years ago for the purpose of housing missionaries while they are on furlough.  This house has been a blessing to dozens of missionaries over the years.  The housing is provided to missionaries free of charge.  Priority is given to our supported missionaries, but we have housed evangelists and other missionaries who needed a place to stay overnight on their way to other churches.
